Nainital

Nainital Lake, a natural freshwater body, situated amidst the township of Nainital in Uttarakhand.Naini Lake is parted into two parts with namely Mallital and Tallital. Mallital is nothern part and the southern part of the Lake is Tallital. Shopping opportunities are ample around the lake along famous Mall Road. Naini Lake also offers romanticism and adventurous boat ride to explore the lake further. Manage by Nainital boat club (Mallital) pedal and rowing boats can be hired for Rs 50 to 80 per hour and nicely painted Gondola boat rowing costs Rs 120 for a round in the lake. Tantalizing sunset at Naini lake filled visitors with peace and quietness.There are also opportunities for yachting, boating and paddling that makes it equally enticing during the day.Naini Lake is one of the four lakes in Kumaon hills, the three other being Sattal Lake, Bhimtal Lake and Naukuchiyatal Lake. The lake is bordered by three mountain peaks – the tall and sharply inclined Naina peak on the north western front, Tiffin Top on the south western front and Snow view peaks on the northern front. Balia Nala is the main feeder-stream of the lake. Other than this, 26 major drains, including the three perennial ones, feed it. The nucleus of Nainital’s exquisite beauty is beautiful lake. In the day, mirrored in its waters stand seven proud hills, dotted with pretty cottages and villas. This reflection alone holds one spell bound. More beautiful than this however is the lake at night when the myriads of bulbs from the hill sides and quite a large number hanging near the lake’s edge stab their magic light into its waters
